The Biodiversity Partners Program (BiPP) is a project-based learning and training programme that blends the most recent research about biodiversity regeneration and nature-based solutions and innovative practices related to managing a project in a complex world. This acceleration programme provides practical support to the conceptualisation and refinement of pro-nature project ideas within an organization. It is a six-month journey that brings together changemakers from diverse sectors working within a common regional context.
Full and partial funding is available under specific conditions and on a case-by-case basis. Some financial participation may be required and will be discussed directly with AFD.
Projects that meet all the following criteria:
- having a positive impact on nature and/or biodiversity, whatever the field (conservation, restoration, sustainable use, risk management and nature-related financing, etc...)
- introducing new ways of working inside organizations (governance, finance, technology, practices).
- having the potential to inspire, replicate, or scale in other contexts.
- embedded in real organizations (ministries, corporates, banks, NGOs, utilities).
The first edition of BiPP Southeast Asia concluded in May 2026.
